Hi my name is Jessica and I had the Essure procedure June 20th, 2012. In the days following placement I had sharp stabbing pains on my right side. I could feel my tube and coil on my right side from time to time and still can to this day. My first HSG only confirmed blockage of my left tube. My right coil looked U-shapped on the HSG and was definately not blocked as the dye was going through. I didn’t have my second HSG until June 26th, 2013 which was a confirmed blockage of both tubes. My doctor and head of the OB/GYN department were present for this confirmation. Days before this test I complained of yeast like symptoms to my provider and they assured my the test could go on even with these symptoms because they were not going to do any swab tests. I continued to have itching and burning with using OTC meds these symptoms seemed to improve. On July 24th, 2013 I was bleeding severely going through super plus tampons in under an hour which continued into the evening. The next morning I awoke feeling better, bleeding still but not as bad and the pain had subsided. July 25th, 2013 in the evening I passed a 3×5 inch bloody, brownish white mass which I thought was my coil! Tests results the next day confirmed I had miscarried!!! My emotions and feelings have been such a roller coaster ride ever since I had these coils placed. I regret I even did this procedure and I hope I get resolution soon to this disaster of a thing called Essure permenent birth control. I hope this doesn’t have to happen to any more women! We need justice and thank you to all the women who are fighting to bring justice!

I had the pressure procedure done in April 2009, and I gave birth to my 6th baby May 14, 2013!!! He was 12 wks early and had many complications. I would really like so answers on this thing. It failed me big time!!

my daughter had this procedure done, she was sick immediately, crazy bizzare things, like blurred vision, depression, excessive weight gain, pain, swelling, bloating, you name it she had it, she finally was able to get them coils removed but had to have hysterectomy done, her pathology report showed her uterus was 3 times the normal size, theses women are having so many complications from this and the doctors keep telling them its in their head and nothing is wrong, now I have my daughter back. please keep pusuing this issue, no one else needs to suffer like that!
