    Many thanks Angie!

  3. Danielle Johnson says:

I have had three surgeries now bc of the essure and I have had my uterus removed. I would love to find out how to join. What lawyer do I contact?

  4. amanda says:

Thank you for this. When mine failed 4 years ago, I was told by a few attorneys that I was not really sympathetic client. I would have to tell a jury “I want money because I have a baby I did not want”… that is not the case. I have a device that failed, and you (Essure) are lying about how many people this has failed for.

  5. Michelle Seyfferth says:

I had the Essure put in February 1, 2012. I was in constant pain everyday after that day it was put in. Two weeks later I had to have another surgery to remove the Essure. They were able to get one out, but couldnt the other, so my doctor had to go in labproscopic and remove the other Essure that was only in me for 2 weeks. And they had to remove one of my felopian tubes. Now I am recovering from the pain of this, plus now I have 3 scars on my stomache over all this. I’m not happy with the out come of this whole deal.

  6. Robin L says:

I wish to join a class action suit as well

  7. terria kittrell says:

I had the essure coils putin oct 2008 after my second and supposed to be last child. Much to my surprise may 2013 i am now pregnant. This made me feel tricked. I would never had gotten the procedure if i knew i could still become pregnant. I am scared that if i do carry full term what the risks would be. Could i die, could the baby die, will it cause permanent damage to me. On top of that, because i dont have finances for another child nor have the coils removed. The dr. that did the confirmation dye test stated to me that there will be no more babies and i believed her until now. The makers of this instrument were very vague on the details and description of their product causing myself and other women to be forced to have a child that was not meant to be. I think their percentage was waaaayyyyy off. Please help us get what we deserve by starting and winning this class action lawsuit.

  8. Ariene Pratt says:

I had the essure put in july 2012 and was in pain constantly.I had to have my uterus removed june 2013 to stop the pain.I’m 34 im too young not to have a uterus because I wanted no more children.

  9. Amanda Poe says:

I had the procedure done in 2008 and after many years of heavy bleeding and severe pain, my dr did a hysterectomy. Everything is gone but one ovary and those essure coils are finally out! Too bad I had to have a hysterectomy at 34, but can finally say I’m pain free.

  10. Feltonya Brown says:

I got the procedure done four years ago have had sharp pains ever since. About two years after I got real sick and was hospitalized they found blood clots and I had a heart attack strange was healthy with no problems when I start my cycle I bleed really heavy and have severe cramps that put me in the bed for about three days but I bleed from eight to ten days and to top it off I am pregnant now just found out.Can someone please help me what can I do to sue this company.

  11. Shannon Marie says:

I had the procedure roughly in 2009. Had a nickel sensitivity right away. The doctor said it wasn’t the implants. So I dealt with it. Four years later, heavy bleeding and cramping. Ultrasound showed something in the uterus. HSG showed the coil migrated down into the uterus and embedded itself into the side. One side, the procedure was successful. The other side, I’m missing one coil all together and another coil is almost all the way out if the tube at the top by the ovary. The doctor says, well your symptoms aren’t that severe so we’ll just do an ablation. We was more concerned with the procedure being successful or not. Said we aren’t going to fish around for the other coil. We would only if you ate having problems. I asked to have the other tube tied the traditional way and the doctor commented about my weight being a hindrance in doing such a procedure. I’m not the smallest person but I’m not a cow either. I want to join the class action lawsuit. I shouldn’t be going through a mess like this. That’s why I opted to have surgery in the first place!

  12. denise knight says:

Ive had the procedure done for two years. I find myself gettn depressed. My cycle is very heavy now and alot of heavy clots. N having little pricks of pain n my lower abdomnial area. I ask my doctor was this(essure) procedure part of the problem. He told me instantly no. But August 12 he schedule me for a sonogram. Even havn sexual relation sometimes is uncomfortable cause i feel little pricks. Could this procedure been more problems than i thought?

  13. Alice Warren says:

I am interested in the lawsuit as well. I had the essure done after my daughter was born in 2006 and had severe pain heavy cycles and headaches. I lived with the pain and suffered until 2012. I went to the dr and he did tests and found nothing to cause my pain. I had a very painful ablation procedure to help with the bleeding only to have it fail as well. I then had a complete hysterectomy in July 2012. I de not recommend this to anyone. No one ever even mentioned the possibility of the essure being the cause of all of my pain. I know I am 40 and would have sooner rather than later gone through menopause but I wish I could have had it happen naturally. I now have to pay 250 every 3 months for hormone replacement that is not covered by my insurance. Please Help me!!! to help other women not to go through what we have experienced.

  14. Martha Mendez says:

On July 17, 2013 I had my essure procedure done. I am 46 years old with two beautiful daughters 20 and 15. My husband and I both agreed that we no longer wanted to have any more children since the girls are big and pretty independent for their ages. For many years I wanted to have some type of safe medical procedure done not to have any more children but I have Fibrocistic breast and breast cancer runs on my mother’s side of the family therefore any type of birth control pills were out of the questions according to my doctor. I asked to have my tubes tied or cut many times, but the insurance wouldn’t cover the medical procedure at the hospital where the doctor practiced. Finally in my last GYN appointment MY doctor introduced me to the Essure procedure. It really sounded like it was heaven sent so I agreed to have it done July 17, 2013. I never experienced a heavy period before, at least not since my teen age years, my cramps were always very light and I had energy and the best thing is my period was always on schedule 24 to 26 day cycle never more than that. After the procedure the first period I experienced was very heavy with blood clots, my period is so off schedule as I right this I am 31 days late, and cramps are severe. In my case I’m new to the procedure so for now all I can do is hope and pray that I don’t go through the nightmares I am reading. It really is scary and sick to my stomach that so many women who trusted the word of the Essure procedure and doctors have failed us. I will continue following up and I have to go on October 17, 2013 to have the dye test done. Fingers crossed please. Wish all a healthy life. God bless.

  15. Martha Mendez says:

I also forgot to mention that I am having trouble sleeping, lots of insomnia almost every day and have to take sleep aids to help me sleep. My body constantly feels tired and heavy, like I have lead on my legs. I have no control over these symptoms and/or feelings. I feel very sensitive all the time and moody. As I wait for my period to come I feel a strong pressure on my lower abdomen, like if I was 5 months pregnant. Very uncomfortable. I noticed that I am becoming withdrawn and don’t want to socialize to much any more I rather be by myself. And this is after I had the procedure done.

  16. Teresa L Cummings says:

I would like to join the class action lawsuit as well. Constantly in pain and discompfort!

  17. Heather Fritz says:

This procedure was suppose to be the best thing that happened to me. It was just the opposite, it almost killed me. I had the Essure done in June 2011 and was fine at first. Then I had a few problems like weight gain, extremely painful periods, back pain etc. I chalked it up to other things until one day I was in so much pain I told my husband to take me to the ER. They said I was fine, but they couldn’t see the coils I told them about. Went to see an OB/GYN and had an XRay done. Both were out of my tubes and needed surgery ASAP. I under went an 8 hour surgery that I nearly didn’t make it through (7/2013). One coil was in my uterus and the other was on my large intestine. I was a ticking time bomb. They had to cut me both horizontally and vertically, both are about 6-7 inches each, I lost so much blood during I had an immediate blood transfusion, I woke up on a ventilator (For a Few Days),had a hysterectomy and came home with a Foley. Now I sit here a month later recovering and on meds everyday. I can’t believe this is allowed. I missed so much work and I’m not ready to go back (I don’t get paid). If anyone knows of a lawyer, I would appreciate it! I have a picture of my coils and cant believe how much damage/pain they have caused… Please keep me posted!

  22. Debbie Steele says:

I had essure done June 2009. I have had sever right sided pain ever since. The right side coil perforated the tube and the coil is embedded in my uterus. I have chronic migraine headaches now. I take Immatrex nearly everyday to keep them under control. Essure is responsible for my headaches I didnt have migraines like this before. I would get a migraine maybe once a year and never had a prescription for migraines before. I was told by the doctor who placed the essure in me that I need a hysterectomy to take the wires out. I have two small children and work full time, I do not have time to have a hysterectomy considering it is a major surgery and will require overnight stay in the hosiptal and then 6 weeks to recover. This product has took a huge toll on my family life and marriage. Someone somewhere should be held accountable for this horrible device that was promoted to all of us women. 24. Shannon Brewer says:

I had my essure procedure in 2009 and had horrible pain for 6months after. The pain was so bad it was treated by pain meds. The pain never went away. Eventually I ended up having to have a hysterectomy at 39 to relieve the pain. This ended with me being pushed into menopause shortly after. Long story short I now live with the hot flashes and weight gain problems that greatly affected my military career. I too want to see this off the market and something down about it.

  25. Laura Raymond says:

  27. Rhonda Taylor says:

2 surgeries under general anesthesia due to the Essure device not opening properly and floating around in my uterus; 6 months of bleeding; now needing to be on progesterone to try to “kick-start” my body back to normal to stop the bleeding and suffering migraines due to it – I would like to be included in the class action suit!

  28. Devona Dee Brown says:

I had the Essure procedure done almost 3 years ago and I wish I had never went thru with it. At first everything went pretty much like my doctor said it would, but I should’ve know something was up, when during the procedure, my left Fallopian tube began to spasm and I passed out from the pain. I have a very high pain tolerance and my doctor became very concerned. My first period was extremely heavy then they began to decrease in amount and time period. After about year and a half, I started bleeding every two weeks. I was passing lots of tissue and clots. My doctor put me back on the pill to regulate my periods and it has helped, but I stay extremely tired, my weight fluctuates constantly, I have recurring bladder/urinary tract infections and my mood swings and the pain I sometimes experience are just ridiculous. I have also be suffering from recurrent episodes of insomnia that effect my ability to do my job and everything else. It never occurred to me that the essure birth control might be to blame. After reading on multiple websites about women with these same problems, how can it be anything but the Essure? We are all different ages, races with different medical backgrounds….our only thing in common is Essure.

  29. dayna says:

I had the essure done in 2009, I was bleeding for 2 months straight I had to get a depro shot to stop bleeding. After 3 months I had to have a eblasion done to stop bleeding. Nevertheless, I still have periods. In 2011, because of tumors growing on my uterus, I had to have it remove. Why in the world did I go through all those surgeries? The essure didn’t help me, nor the eblasion.

I don’t no what to do now.

  30. Sangie says:

I wish to join a class action suit as well

  31. Tonia says:

I had the procedure done in October 2013, and this January (2015) I found out I am pregnant. I am 39 and having to see a perinatal specialist for high risk for my age. I would love to take part of this class action lawsuit if it is still an option.

  32. Theresa Schaffer says:

Is there legal help available for all we have gone through? I had my essure done in 2007.. My doctor said it was experimental and safe. No one asked me if I had allegories to metal.. I have been allergic to metal since I was young.. After having this procedure done I have sharp pains in my abdomen all the time. My periods are irregular and with each menstural cycle I suffer from anxiety, fatigue, nausea.. I had to get out of the military last year because I was home bound due to the onset of anxiety and pains in my ovaries. My parents had to move in and help with the kids and cooking. I started to feel better for almost a year still having the pain.. Then my menstural cycles jumped again and I just started a new job to find out I may now loose this job because all the symptoms are back after a delayed cycle. It was like one day I was ok the next I’m in pain and tired and nauseated and anxious… I have had miscarriages as well so my sex life is limited cause this happens.. Will having these removed give me my life back? I’m scared! I have four kids a awesome husband but we can’t take another financial hit.. Can some one help? My email is …
