Missouri Women Join Fight Against Essure

Two Missouri women, who claim the non-surgical sterilization device Essure caused painful and life-altering complications, have joined a grassroots online campaign led by activist Erin Brockovich to remove the device from the market.

Brockovich spoke to KCTV5 via Skype about her reasons for launching the page.

‘My story is being a voice for them because they are not being heard,’ Brockovich told KCTV5. ‘It’s about awareness. I have had so many women who have written to us now and said, ‘Thank you for the post. Thank you for sharing the stories. We didn’t know about the situation. And now we feel we are better informed to possibly make a different decision.”

Help!!! I’ve been to neurologist (2), endured months of physical therapy, gone to both the optometrist and the opthamologist, an ENT, and numerous appointments with my primary care doc. It is tiring and now I think I’ve figured out why. If you could direct me as to how I go about getting my doctor to see this is what is going on, I would be forever grateful!

I have weakness and tingling on one side of my body. Constant headaches, erratic blood pressure, belly aches consistently, my stomach feels like it is always bloated…the list goes on. Do I just ask for a hair test for nickel toxicity? I just want this over!!!

Any assistance would be great appreciated!

    Sincerely,
    Michelle Damon
