I had the Essure procedure done in 2011. I am currently getting information together for my Doctor because he wants to see how many women out there are suffering! After going to him multiple times and telling him something is wrong he is finally listening!
I have suffered from severe body aches; I smell metal and taste metal during the day. I have also experienced seizures and severe migraines, my menstrual cycles are also very messed up, some are so light which my Doctor said isn’t right! This thing has almost made me feel like I am going crazy in my own skin because you’re always feeling sick and have NO energy what so ever!! I would NEVER recommend the Essure to anyone!
The Doctor’s make it sound like such a little office procedure, when really it makes your life a living hell! And why they don’t test for nickel before, I have no idea! I was the one that had to tell my Dr it had nickel in it because he said it was only made of Titanium! It is sad that these Doctor’s aren’t doing there research and are implanting these coils in our bodies not knowing really what that are made of!
I hope to print out a 3 inch binder full of information to present to my Doctor so I can see his reaction on how many others are out there suffering like I am! Thank you for doing this Erin, we need your help and support to prove to the FDA and the maker of Essure that their product is ruining people’s lives!

I had Essure put in 2006…I have experienced three episodes of a vibrations in my head. These episodes leave me incapacitated for 3~6 secs..I call it shaky brain syndrome. Other symptoms irregular periods…migraines and lethargy not sure of any of this is related to Essure but I am beginning to think it is…Going to the Neurologist soon…Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
