I received the ESSURE implant in September 2006. I had never heard of the product before. I had originally opted to have a tubal ligation because my husband and I decided that we would stick to our plan of conceiving three children. I was referred from my military primary care physican to an outside civilian gynecology doctor in town. During this office visit it had been decided by the doctor that the ESSURE implant was the procedure that I would receive. Before the ESSURE implant, I never suffered from migraine headaches, blood clots during my menstral cycle, or abdominal or the severe cramping that I experience since the implant and am still experiencing now. I have been to my military primary care doctors complaining of ‘Female Pains’, and ninety percent of the time the doctor’s have not heard of the ESSURE implant procedure. I don’t think that it is a popular choice in the military hospitals. In October 2007, I was diagnosed with DISCOID LUPUS. Before Lupus I began to have episodes of Vertigo, hair loss, severe migraine headaches. I also have been diagnosed with Vitiligo. Many of the condiotns tht I have described DO NOT occur with anyone in family. I only began to experience these complications after the ESSURE implant. I am planning to have an in-depth exam with gynecology in January 2014, in hopes of pin-pointing the cause of my ailments.
Please PRAY for me and I will PRAY for all of us! Thanks for listening and GOD BLESS!
