My name is Erica Barnes Hill and I have had the Essure implanted since April 2006 and my life has been literally HELL every since. Everyday that I wake up I feel like I have the worst case of the flu virus, my left side is constantly in pain, my menstrual period has been so out of whack for the past 9 years. I went 7 years with absolutely no menstrual period and then one July night I started bleeding extremely bad as if I was having a miscarriage but I wasn’t given any reason for the bleeding. I followed up with my gynecologist and was told nothing and every time I have said or mentioned the Essure as possibly causing my discomfort. Just to make sure I went to several of physicians at the time and NO ONE wants to help with this issue. It has now been 9 1/2 years since I had the Essure implanted and my life has been HELL ON EARTH. I have extreme discomfort, irregular menstrual cycle, migraines, seizures, high blood pressure, severe mood swings, constant aching, constant nausea, I truly feel like death most of the time. If I feel like getting out of the house, it’s not long and I’m so fatigued and in pain that I’m back home sooner than I had planned or more importantly I had wanted too. I want these horrible devices out of my body. I want to be the Mother to my children and the Wife to my husband that they deserve from me and this so called 100% effected device is taking ME away from them. I’ve read and research the other women’s testimonies and it’s truly disturbing and immoral for a company to think $$$$$MOney$$$$$ over the concern of all of us women whose lives have been changed forever. This product as completely ruined mine and thousands of women and NO ONE wants to answer for it!!!! Why, if you stand by this product then where is all the women who have the Essure that can’t say one negative remark about it or that it’s the best thing that they could have done for their lifestyle???? I’m desperate for help to get these things from my body. my best wishes to the women out there who are being affected by this horrific implant that was supposed to help us and improve our lives!!!!
