Finally we are being heard. My doctor inserted e-ssure after telling him many times I just want my tubes tied. I Didn’t find out until I had the X-ray done three month later and found out that I had them inserted. I went back to the doctor and he ‘claims’ he explained what the procedure entailed. I never received a card saying I had essure and the doctor denied that I never said I didn’t want that and he explained the procedure before I went into surgery. Then he didn’t want to take them out. So I got my paperwork from the doctor and consent I signed said tubal ligation/essure. Prior to signing the consent I asked why it said essure and the nurse said they are standard consent forms. But because I signed the consent and didn’t circle tubal ligation I can’t sue the doctor. When I found this site on fb it opened my eyes as to all the side effects. Blotting migraines hair lose and left side pelvic pain that sent me to the hospital three times. Fortunately I found another doctor and he removed the coils and removed my tubes. I wished I could sue the doctor or something. But for now I am happy to hear congress has heard these wonderful women who stood up for us and advocates to get this product off the market!!
