I had the essure procedure done in 2008. I wanted to have a permanent birth control done that would not put me in the hospital so this procedure was perfect until I got on the table. I was in excruciating pain throughtout the entire procedure. I don’t recommend anyone to have it done. After I had the procedure done I bleed everyday for 9 months. I went back to the Gynocologist several times and the doctor could not give me a reason as to why I was bleeding for such a long time. And I was told it would stop eventually and not to worry. It finally stopped.
In 2012 I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). I was scared…I had know idea what this was. No family history of it. I also have menstrual cycles that come at all different times…could be 28 days and it could be as long as 48 days. I have severe bleeding and sometimes can not make it to the restroom. I suffer from hot flashes, insomnia, low energy, severe back pains, migraines and severe depression during my cycle sometimes I break out in tears for no reason. From the research I have been doing over the last couple of years I know see that the essure birth control is the reason I am having alot of the problems I am having.
I wish I would have never the essure procedure done!
