I had the essure procedure in may 2013. Due to the process I had 2 doses of the depo shot, should have worn off in august 2013. Here we are may 2014. I’ve yet to have a period. I called my ob office a few weeks ago concerned and was told it’s likely due to the depo shots. I’ve been regular my whole life. I’ve read of extended periods but not my situation. I was blown off and told I look at the Internet too much. I’ve also had 2 rather unsuccessful back surgeries, with no relief in pain as I was promised. I generally feel like he’ll and I am living on pain control medication among other things. I had the dye test and everything is supposed to be all healed and blocked up. I’m depressed because I feel like I did this because it’s what my family and husband wanted and I always try to please everyone else. I cry daily and I’m not sure where to start to see if anything is related to the essure, so maybe my story is more of a bunch of questions. My doctor blew me off, or his assistant did. Not sure my questions ever make it to the dr. I’m depressed and wish I could just have them out. But I’m not someone who could ever afford it. So this is how it is….no hope and no help
