Hi my name is Julie Copeland. I am from Snohomish Washington. I am a mother of 5. My last pregnancy was tough. She was a footling breech and I had her vaginally. I was pretty risky as my water broke at home and was taken by ambulance and with in 7 minutes of being there I delivered her. So I decided that I was done building my family. So my friend told me about the Essure procedure. So at my 6 week check up i spoke with my Dr about it. I did some research on it but really didn’t find much. So I went ahead and got it. It was put in on June 13, 2013. Every since then I have been bleeding and I have been dizzy, fatigued, I’ve had migraines, Sevier nausea, burning in my left side and tugging. Well I was going in to have the HSG test done and found out that my left coil is about 2.3 centimeters in to my uterus and that its rubbing on my uterine wall and causing me to bleed. To date it is November 1, 2013 and I’m still bleeding. I have spoke to my doctor about removal but I have been told by the ladies on the Essure problem page on Facebook not to allow them to remove the coils with the procedures he’s wanting to do. I have also been told that its also risky. So here I sit waiting for a second opinion. I’m hoping we are able to stop this procedure from effecting more women and one day seek justice for lifes that have been effected by this horrible thing.
