I had Essure procedure done in August of 2006. I just found out one of my springs has migrated, I have an appointment with a specialist in two weeks. I have not felt well since August 2013. I had a CT scan recently because of a kidney stone and was told about the problem. I am very upset because I would of never known about this if it wasn’t for the kidney stone. After reading about some of the complications my symptoms make more sense, I couldn’t figure out why I feel so horrible. Please forward me any information that will help me prepare to have this problem treated. I had the procedure done at the suggestion of my Dr. I trusted his advice, i did not seek out Essure. My symptoms are: daily headaches, weight gain, severe joint pain, increased periods that linger up to 14 days, sharp pains in my pevic area, back pain, swelling of my hands and legs, some times my legs feel like there is a fire burning under my skin, and fatigue.
I had had my yearly pap exam a month ago and told my Dr. of my symptoms and I don’t think she took me seriously. Two weeks later I find out about the migration, I am looking for a new Dr.
I am also having trouble finding a Dr that has experience with the removal, they wont tell you if they have done it or not unless you are a patient. I am scared and frustrated. I don’t want to have surgery but know I have to To fix this nightmare.
