I had the Essure procedure done shortly after the birth of my 4th daughter. i was not told there was nickel in the stents (even with people from tge manufactures sitting in on my procedure). The stent on my right side didnt was angled up instead of laying flat, causing me a lot of pain, and it didn’t seal properly. 4 months after the procedure i got pregnant with my 5th daughter. The stent moved into my uterus while I waa pregnant with her. Towards the middle of my pregnancy they could no longer see the stent. i had horrible pain while I was pregnant. And a horrible delivery with my daughter. When she was 5 weeks old i opted to have a tubal ligation. my dr told me if he could find the missing stent he would remove it. After my surgery i was told he did find it but didn’t remove it. At that time the stent was found to be above my ligament that supports my fallopian tube and below my Fallopian tube. I was told it had went through my uterus during my pregnancy. i know i will never know if my daughter being developmentally delayed is due to the essure stent, but I can’t help but wonder. i have gained A LOT of wt and can’t lose it. And im in pain everyday on my right side. My drs look at me like im crazy like im just wanting pills. I don’t want my pain masked i want it fixed. When i contacted the manufactures i was told they has not had any complaints like mine before and that they don’t believe my pain is caused by the essure stet on my right side. I feel hopeless and that ill forever be in pain now.
