In 2011 I underwent the Essure procedure soon after I started having migraines to the point of becoming violently ill, being rushed to the ER, and a lot of abdominal pain. After months of this and many doctor appointments it was decided that I needed a hysterectomy. After this procedure the headaches still continued and I was hospitalized several times for several stomach pain. Severel months ago the pain got so severe I once again found myself hospitalized, a CAT scan revealed a foreign metal object in my abdominal area toward my colon. Next I underwent another operation to remove the foreign object (I have this saved in a medical bag from the surgeon) the object was so wrapped around my colon that when removed tore open my colon causing the need for a graph to be placed to seal my colon back up. I now suffer from constant diarrhea, dehabilitating headaches, as well as pain in my abdominal area.
Today I returned from the GYN doctor and was shocked to hear that I need to undergo MORE testing because he has it notated that there was NO essure in my left side when he performed my hysterectomy and the piece removed was only a malformed spring, this being said he says that I must have MORE stuck somewhere and that we need to find so it can be removed as well.
