First of all I want to thank you for having this website. I thought I was loosing my mind. I have been in pain for so many years and the doctors cant figure out whats wrong with me. Thanks to all of you ladies speaking out….I believe I have all my problems figured out. IT’S THE ESSURE COILS FOR SURE!!
After having a heart to heart conversation with one of my best friends I decided to take her word for what might be happening to my body. After all…..the doctors can’t find anything wrong with me…..all tests come back negative.
My friend, Dawn, has had some conversations with many women with the same or similar symptoms that I am experiencing. She told me about this website for problems with “ESSURE”
********************************************************************
iIt was so long ago Im not sure of what year I had my procedure for Essure.
The procedure itself was the most painful experience I’ve ever had. The pain and pressure was so terrible. I felt like I was being tortured. During the procedure I cried with SEVERE pain wishing it would end soon.
I remember a nurse saying that my blood pressure was dropping fast and my eyes were rolling into the back of my head from the pain. The tears were pouring out of my eyes and I was sweating so bad. Then I remember a nurse pushed on my abdomen and something popped and released the uncomfortable pressure.
It was an uncomfortable ride home. My left ovaries hurt so much. I just thought it was part of the procedure so I told myself to suck it up.
After having Essure implanted I started having chronic pain in my abdomen that would last for days at a time and sometimes all month long. It is very rare that I am not in pain and it gets worse about ten days before my period and will last through my cycle and days afterwards. My periods have never been bad, but have begun to get worse since Essure and continue to worsen over the years.
I suffer from a lot of pain on my left side where my ovaries are located and very heavy menstrual bleeding. During my cycle, I will soak through a super tampon in 2 to 3 hours…..sometimes 1 hour. The pain during my periods are horrible.
Since having the procedure done I have experienced occasional abdominal cramping, fatigue, tiredness, sometimes abdominal pain during intercourse, dizziness, memory loss, brain fog and confusion at times, forgetfulness, sleepiness, night sweats, bloating, lack of libido since the day of the procedure. Blurred vision and dizziness at times. I have a rash on one leg and I get boils all the time now.
My vision is failing but my eye doctor says my vision is fine.
I have never been tested for a nickel allergy before having the Essure implanted.
I am having ice pick pain especially in my left ovary, very sharp pain in my left abdomen and hip and the pain radiates down my left leg sometimes to my knee and tingling in my right leg. Sometimes the sharp pain feels like its burning. Sometimes I have numbness in both arms.
Doctors have thought it was my appendicitis or gallbladder. I have had CT scans, ultrasounds and tests for blood clots in my legs because of swelling.
My periods are unmanageable for the first few days. I have extreme fatigue to the point some days I just want to sleep the day away. I thought it was due to the amount of blood I was losing.
I’m so tired of hearing myself say that my left abdomen hurts and my left leg hurts so bad that I want to cut it off.
The doctors cant find anything wrong with me but after reading these ladies stories I do believe that the “Essure” device is what’s causing my problems. I’m scared that this object in my body is causing damage. I would never ever let them do this procedure to me again.
My question now is: Does anybody know of a doctor in Winnipeg that will remove these evil coils? PLEASE HELP!
