I have had Essure in place for about a week now. I already have symptoms of an allergic reaction. I have a rash that spreads from the top of my pelvic region to under my breasts. The rash looks like tiny itchy watery bumps. I’ve also experienced a severe headache but I wrote this off to being the anesthetic because I was put under.
Days later the headache still bothers me. I am being dizzy and nauseous. The pain in my right side is most intolerable pain. Essure is still fairly new in my body it’s hard to say my side effects are from the implant or not but I felt fine before them. I would like to add that my gyno is removing them on Monday morning with no hesitation. Is that a coincidence? I think it’s not.
I was very surprised about his willingness to remove the coils after being told about the horror stories he has heard from other doctors. The moral lesson of my story is do your research and get a good doctor.
