Essure Procedure

I got my procedure done in july of this year. The procedure went fine, I was satisfied. The first month in, my period was a week late…so I freaked out. Especially since I hadn’t had unprotected sex. I also noticed the bad cramps that start 2 weeks before my period even comes on, and heavy bleeding. Every month it just gets worse and worse. These days I can’t even stand when my period is on because I’m in so much pain. I wait tables for a living so this is a major inconvenience for me. Some times I’m afraid I’m gonna over dose on Tylenol because the normal amount really isn’t enough to say the least. If your tthinking about

After having my 5th child Idecided I was done. My doctor suggested Esure since I don’t have a lot of time to be recovering. I had the procedure in Oct. 2012. Following the procedure I bled for 4–5 months. My doctor said that was normal. Over the years I have irregular periods, I have problems bleeding and my cramps have become sharp pains. I also have a heart shaped uterus which worries me because I recently found out on my own, thatyou should not get the implant with an irregular shaped uterus. Well now I am stuck with Esure and I can only hope and pray it gets better.

I had the Essure coils placed in June of 2013.  I had the HSG test in November 2013 and it showed one coil was on the fallopian tube as it should be however the second one is embedded in a muscle and not on the tube.    I am now scheduled to have my tubes removed in December and to remove the coils.  I actually consider myself lucky though as I have not had any adverse physical effects.   I wish I would have had my tubes tied instead of Essure.  The most frustrating part is the financial expense of the surgery.

I got the essure procedure back in May 2013. I decided on this because I had 2 children and I was didnt want anymore. I really needed to get off birth control due to not having a steady period in over 12 years. I am in constant pain with my stomach. It is hard to eat anything without feeling sick. I still currently do not have a steady period. I haven’t had one for 3 months. I am very moody and irritable.

On July 16th 2013 I Underwent the procedure for ESSURE. I decided to go with ESSURE after having complications during both my 3rd pregnancy and c-section. I have a hard time remembering to take a pill everyday and have had issues with other types of birth control in the past. My body can not handle another pregnancy so after consulting with my dr we decided ESSURE would be the best route. 3 months after having ESSURE placed I started my period and have had it for the last 2 1/2 months at times having heavy bleeding so bad I bleed through a super tampon in 1-2 hrs,  sever cramping and bloating, large blood clots. In 2006 I gave birth to our 3rd child and months later my husband and I decided 3 was a good number for us.  I spoke to my doctor about birth control options and she mentioned Essure, after not being happy with other methods.  She informed me that the procedure was quick and 100 % effective.  My husband at the time was active duty military, we were both 26 years old and he was absent from the home a lot, therefore, we knew it would be best to make my birth control permanent.  I decided to go through with the procedure in December of 2006 at Naval Hospital Lemoore. Today i found out that my older sister who is on this birth control is pregnant. Three month actually and she went to the doctor today to figure out what to do. They told there is nothing they can do. They ran exams and an ultrasound, they told there is a chance that the pregnancy is ectopic and if it isnt and she goes full term there is a chance she and the baby may die.  They also told her that she may have to take a pill to cause a miscarriage. I dont know what to say other than this is a horrible birth control. I wish that she had never gotten it.
