Too bad Sandra we’re victims of this procedure. I’m having surgery next week and my nerves are starting to set in. I hope it goes well. I’m going to be recovering & taking care of my two kids alone. I am a single mom. A friend will come to help me for only a day but I do not know what to do after.

I had partial hysterectomy to get these coils removed. The Essure coils destroyed my life. I had pain for months and the bleeding was bad when I had my menstrual cycle . I would never recommend this procedure to anybody. No woman should get this! I wish that the time will come where is women that have suffered from this procedure could sue the manufacturer. It destroyed my life and the sad thing is, I had to have my fallopian tubes removed just to get the coils removed. The bad thing is I was never tested to see if I was allergic to it and come to find out I was allergic to the Essure device. I was sick for many many months.

Thanks Sandra for taking time to share your Essure nightmare story. I have had the coils since 2011. I have been suffering from chronic pelvic pain, heavy bleeding, abdominal pain, rashes, dizziness, tingling in hands and legs, nausea, blurry vision, and dry eye. I can’t stand this any more.
