I had essure done after my 3rd child towards the end of 2009. I had then been having off and on stomach issues but nothing too serious. It wasn’t until 2011 is when the pain and stomach issues got severe. I went to the ER for an abscess that needed to be drainded. A few weeks later I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. From 2011 until now 2016, I am still fighting stomach pain, tons of inflammation, bloating, horrible menstrual cycles. I have had CT scans, xrays, blood work, colonoscopys, laproscopy, endoscopy, ect…. this whole time being put on different Crohn’so disease medicines and nothing ever working. They have found so many lesions they couldn’t even see my cervix at one point. Still to this day they say I have Crohn’s, yet they see nothing active that supports their beliefs. Just a bunch of inflammation is what they tell me. I have no other symptoms of Crohn’s disease. I get very bad pains about a week before I start my period, and then a couple of days after I’m off. I’m fine other than that. I have no family history of any stomach issues with anyone in my family. I truly believe these coils play a huge part in my issues. They do not believe me when I tell them I think it’s the essure. Please if anyone can help me, let me know. I want to have them removed and see what it’s like after. I’m pretty positive everything would go away then.
