I got the essure late October 2013
My doctor practically forced it on me and made it sound like the world’s best choice for me as I was 40 and a smoker. I did goto the gym 3 times a week and would play a lot of disc golf. Which I had quit both shortly after the essure.
The procedure was done in her office and the right side was extremely painful I about jumped off of the table
I kept calling the doctors office to let them know that I was having problems and they told me it would go away that it was normal in some women
When I went for my follow up test to see if the tubes were occluded my doctors office said they couldn’t find my results so I kept calling them and they finally said that my tubes were fully blocked and I should be fine
I was/ am always feeling sick and tired and cramping tender breasts just a general malaise hair falling out
I have had a few fainting spells lots of vomiting difficulty breathing bloating bloating and more bloating
In February 2014 I was at work (which is a desk job ) I fainted breiflly and just started vomiting. I left work in which I haven’t ever called in or had a sick day until then. I drove to a convienient care feeling like I was going to die, I had thought that I had the flu. The doctors office said I needed to goto the hospital and would not let me drive my pulse was week and thready they would not let me drive I had to go by ambulance. I didn’t even get a chance to call anyone.
At the hopital I told them I thought I had the flu and they said no and that they had found a heart murmur and that my blood count was dangerously low so they were going to admit me into the icu. Finally after I got admited and stabilized I got to call my family and let them know what had happened . Of course I kept trying to tell the doctors the I had believed that it was from essure and not one doctor that saw me knew what I was talking about. On the 3rd day in the ICU I recieved a blood transfusion , which had only gotten my count a little higher and the next morning the count had dropped again . Still with no idea what was wrong with me on the 4th day I went home and had 3 follow up doctors appointments one with a cardiologist, one with a gasterologist and a family doctor. I have had test after test only to find out no results. I have been tested for everything and anything I feel like I am drowning in medical debt. Thankfully I have insurance to help with the shock.
I have been in and out of the hospital to no avail. I have few good days and many good days I feel like a very sick person
Some weekends when I am off work I will just go home and stay in bed the whole time until its time to go back to work
I am now on many many medications that I take 3 times a day
I am just at wits end I am tired of being tired and in pain all the time.
I do not know where to go or what to do I do know I want these out of me
And of course I do not have a gynocogist now as my doctor had moved out of state after my essure procedure
Thanks for finally giving me the courage or place to share this story

Still in E-Hell
I went in to have the procedure 2 weeks ago and the coil did not deploy from the device on one side. I will find out on Monday if they were able to remove both of the coils. I do not want this! Would never had done this procedure had I realized all of the problems.
