Hi Erin. Thanks for getting the word out. I had the Essure procedure done a couple years ago. I was told that it was a simple procedure and I would be in and out in 15 minutes. It took 4 hours and I was in excruiating pain following the procedure and for 3 months later. The doctor that did the procedure wouldnt see me after the surgery and had to find someone else. I was in such severe pain I could not sit or sleep. After calling my friend who is a specialist at the Hershey Med Center, he said to meet him in the morning to remove the coils as I was allergic to the metal. i had never been allergic to any metal before. Dr MacNeill went in to remove the coils but could not find them; they migrated. So I then had to get a x ray which showed the location of the coils in my tubes. Only option was to remove my tubes. Once he removed my tubes, the surgery proved that the dr inserted the coiled, two in one tube and one in another tube, had all punctured holes AND I had a fertilized egg in one of my tubes. After that I had such heavy periods and had too have the ablation. Since then I have had severe health issues…. auto immune disease, now hypothyroid and hormonal inbalances and severe inflammation that I have to restrict my food intake. I also get severe UTI’s and no idea why.
Hope no one ever goes through what I went through. This needs to be taken off the market now!
Than you again for listening.
