I am a 34 year old mother of 4. I had this procedure done back in 2008/2009 I believe. It was after the birth of my last daughter. I have the card with the barcode they gave me but no date. Anyways, I remember my doctor (great doctor) asked me directly after the procedure was done if I would recommend it? I said no it was actually quite painful and contemplated that I should have stopped after the first one was in. I have had problems that started within the first year of having it. On and off stabbing pains in my lower pelvis, sides and the past 2 years but more extreme this year. Joint pain is constant this year. I am a relatively healthy person, work out so these issues and to my knowledge these issues did not exist until after this procedure. I do also experience the dizzy feeling quite frequently. My periods are consistent but are now accompanied with painful cramps and extremely heavy with bloating that never seems to go away. I am consistently tired and exhausted. After I get a good nights rest I still do not feel rejuvenated. I have reported these problems and pains to my doctors and feel like I am being blown off. ‘It’s scar tissue that will always cause discomfort’ or ‘you have a busy lifestyle’ this was the answer to my tired feeling. The symptoms have not gone away, I would love to get the procedure reversed and often wonder how I much better I would feel if they were out? I have become accustomed to feeling these symptoms now which is really quite sad. I am extremely busy and feel like reporting the constant pain is useless and hope that there is some type of accountability brought against the company that created this device. Unfortunately, I feel better knowing that I am not the only one feeling these types of negatives symptoms from this product.
