I like many other women have had numerous complications I believe are caused by having the Essure implanted January 2013. Since having the Essure put in, my life hasn’t been the same with rapid weight gain, major bloating, bad joint pain and cramping. I have been breaking out in hives as well and was just in the ER once again for itchy, red, burning hives on mostly my arms and neck but also with swollen hands and feet. No doctor can seem to figure out whats causing this with various tests. I usually am temporarily put on prednisone along with Benadryl which I am not happy about. I have been depressed and have had chronic fatigue which is so hard for me because I have two beautiful young daughters (one of which is Autistic) which requires my constant attention. These symptoms make it almost impossible for me to take care if my girls! I am currently about to see a second Gynocologist to see about having these things removed ASAP and hoping she is receptive to my troubles. I feel so bad for all these other women that are going through this as well, and wish that the FDA would except these problems so we can at least have this covered by insurance for removal!
