Greetings, I too have experienced an Essure nightmare. After giving birth to our fourth child, my husband and I decided to both have permanent birth control procedures. Since I didn’t want surgery/tubal my OB/GYN suggested the Essure device and scheduled me in for the regular office procedure. The insertion was painful but what happened for the next several months was worse. I had constant stabbing, cramping, and ripping in what I assume were my Fallopian tubes. After consulting with the doctor several times, he suggested that they be removed via. tubal ligation, the exact thing I wanted to avoid. My case was even printed in the LWW Obstetrics and Gynecology Journal. The pain dissipated after their removal and all has been great since.
