Hi, Im a 28 year old mother of two a 8 year old boy and a 4 year old girl. I have fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis and bulging disc to name a few. So when my gynecologist told me about the Essure procedure and how it had little down vs. Having my tubes tied. I did my research and had found nothing bad about Essure so I had them put in on March 31,2014. Within a 2 week period my lower abdomen began to cramp horribly, I made an appointment to see my gynecologist. She really didn’t have anything to say but sorry, it’s just a side effect it should get better. Then in August I wss in the car pool lane picking up my daughter from pre-k and there was an Essure ribbion on the back of the car in front of me. So I got out of my car an asked the mother about the Essure ribbon. I was blown away with all the stories she had told me especially hers. She referred me the Dr.Michael Fields @ Tenova in Turkey Creek Knoxville, Tn. I then called and made an appointment with him, he had told me how his office had done a study on the Essure procedure and his office no longer offers the product anymore. As for me I had my complete hysterectomy on Thursday October 23, 2014. It has been very painful and do not recommend Essure to any woman. Please take this product off the market.
