I have had surgery about 5 to 6 months ago I am taking a guess anyhow ever since I’ve had the procedure done they told me I had to have a second form of birth control so I did the Depo Provera including the Essure procedure well at first I thought it was just the Depo Provera shot because it has a lot of the same symptoms but now that I’m looking this up which I don’t know why I was never informed of all these symptoms and all these problems that are possibly forever until you remove these coils from your body however I am very upset that nobody told me of the side effects and I feel kind of stupid myself for not looking into it more however I’ve been feeling nauseous so bad almost every day for months and months and months I take nausea pills but barely help and I’m so sick of always being nauseous and I’m not pregnant and I can definitely tell my hair has been thinning out so bad where I’ve been losing so much hair it is so unhealthy I know that we all lose a certain amount of hair everyday but the amount that I’m losing is so unhealthy its scaring me I’m going bald and its scaring me because I’m only 26 years old anyways I’ve had sharp pains and sometimes it will only be for a second but twice now I have had very painful shooting pains right around the area the coils are in. I’m really worried that I made a mistake with the surgery because I know I sure as hell do not want to keep going through this the rest of my life so someone please help give me some advice as far as weight yes I’ve gained weight but not nearly as eye-opening as the other things. Thanks!
Have the coils removed Kristina. That’s the only way you get better. Many women experience gaining weight after a week or month after having the procedure. Read stories and you”ll find what I’m talking about.
