My name is Jennifer, and I also had the Essure procedure in Feb of 2016. Not long after, my hair began to fall out and I started having migraines. I also began having non-stop neck pain. I have never had migraines or pain before! At this time, I stayed home with our 3 children and was finishing school. The pain gratly interfered with my ability to be the mother that I wanted to be. I went to my doc, who did all the tests that he could, and eventually eferred me to a pain doc. Subsequently, I became addicted to opiates. I do not take them anymore, but I still live with pain, every single day. I am also having non-stop pain in my left side (the doc that placed my coil had a hard time getting the coil in that side). I have to have a hysterectomy on April 21 because of it (I am 35). I am keeing my ovaies, but I am still sad. I have horrible and unpredictible periods that are excruciating on my left side, have such bad cramps, and have such heavy periods that I soak through an ultra (bigger than super plus) tampon an hour. Thank God I found an ob gyn that finally believes me and is taking them out! Everyone and every test I have had says nothing is wrong. I CANNOT WAIT to get these stupid things out of me. I should have never done this. I didn’t sign on for the last 7 years of, or a lifetime of pain.
