Mother of 5 children youngest being five years old and having the ESSURE procedure done in 2008 no more children for me. For years I have suffered with with the most terrible period pains. Worried how this interfered with my work and never the less my life…Due to no medical insurance and not able to afford out-of- pocket doctor I wasn’t able to get the medical attention needed instead i managed to temporary stop the pain by taking, Ibuprofen ,pamprinc, midol along with a heating pad and bed rest because of this I have manage to accept that what I am experiencing as normal.
Before I start my monthly menstrual I get a warning 5 days before by experiencing pelvic pain and lower back tailbone pain . Sometimes I spot for about 4 days then start the heavy bleeding. My menstrual usually lasts about 5 days or so. Day 1 and 2 are my worst days my menstrual is accompanied by severe camping ,pain and back pain and nausea along with heavy bleeding where I change my pad about 5-6 times a day and along with the change of clothing . During this time I can not stand or lift anything heavy due to pressure in my uterus that causes a flow of blood to come down. I am passing blood clots about a penny to fifty cent piece and some tissue as well. Pain worsens when on my feet for a long period of time or heavy foods. I have to monitor my intake as severe cramping develops.
In other note while I am not on my period I unexpectedly pain which appears to be my ovaries to where I can not walk or sit along with bloating I take something for the pain and lay in bed until It passes through in about 30 min. This happens at least twice a month. I got myself a clinic card where I saw Dr. Sarah Wilson at Spohn South in April 2014. I explained my menstrual symptoms to her and she had prescribed me some birth control as an option to regulate my bleeding. Which I didn’t take. I didn’t need any side effects to accompany the problem I’m having now… I am hoping to find a doctor to tell me whats wrong with me. This does effect my life month to month as a do have children to look after. Just wanted to explain my symptoms so whomever is reading this can get a better understanding about my medical issues.
