Hi,
I have had the Essure procedure now for 4 1/2 years. Over the years, I have experienced abdominal cramping, excessive menstrual cycles up to twice a month. I am anemic, now I have cyst on my ovaries and fibroids(which I was told nothing to worry about), with the abdominal pain I was told it was low potassium and then I was told that I have bladder spasm. Which I am still very lost and clueless to how a person acquire these symptoms if they have never had any medical problems in their life. Never experienced any of these weird symptoms, until a year after the procedure. I talked to my OBGYN about my complications and I was told that we can just monitor and see if another form of birth control can be put in place to help with theh cycles, before removing the coils. I experience bloating and excessive pain in the lower part of my back towards my buttocks. Pregnancy test have be done and other test performed to rule out anything esle medically could be wrong. All my test have came back negative and this is from two different emergency room departments and two different OBGYN clinics. My last child was born 3/9/10 and my procedure was done in 5/2010. I rather take a pill everyday then have excessive pain that no doctor can explain why I am having them and other doctors tell me that they do not recommend or have no clue about the procedure. I just want answers and for insurance providers require the reversal of the procedure and for the Essure to be removed off the market due to the high demand of compliants.
