Essure Procedure

I  have digged & digged trying to find answers as to why in the last 5-6 years my body feels like it’s falling apart.now 47 Never did I once consider it may be caused by my’ Essure Procedure’  until recent studies and recent  stories in the media. I have complained to Drs; and have had MANY MRI’s xrays only to be told its Arthiritis …My joints…Wrists ..Arms burn . lower back.. the pain runs up & down my Cervical Daily..The worst periods blood clots & pain..I stay tired & Fatique..lower Abdominal pain..sharp pains itchie skin..rashes …many many nites I cannot sleep…I can Only be concerned now that the coils used in this procedure has made me sick… please help me

I got the essure done in 2009 and have regreted it ever since. I’ve had nothing but issues. I have sharp stabbing pains in my lower abdomen all the time, lower backaches,nausea, headaches, and fatigue. I feel like my health is the worst its ever been and I’m only 29 having these health issues. I was never given an allergy test before getting the essure put in whch I plan on making a dr appt soon to see if I might be allergic. First I want to say I am so relieved to know I am not alone. I was beginning to thicrazy was crazy. I got the essure coils in December 2011. Ever since I have had nothing but trouble. I have a constant painand I swear I can feet the coils pulling on my inside if I move certain ways. I have had long periods, 47 days has been the longest. Hello,  I just wanted to share how difficult life has been due to these coils.  My Dr. insists the problems I am having have nothing to do with the device.  However, I feel differently. I was one of the blessed women who never had PMS or any pain or symptoms related to my period.  That changed about 11 months after I had the Essure procedure.  It all started with horrible pain.  Really heavy and painful periods, pain with sex, hip pain and the list goes on.  I had an ultrasound and they said the coils were in the right spot, and were not the source of my pain.  The Dr. went on to tell me I could have a hysterectomy but

I had my second and last child in 2009. I told my Obgyn I wanted my tubes tied and she mentioned that I should try Essure because it was a quick easy procedure and I wouldn’t have to miss work. They scheduled the procedure as soon as I healed from my delivery. As soon as 6 months after implantation I started getting pains on my left side. I thought I was all alone with my Essure procedure. I had it done in May of 2009. The procedure was flawed as one side went in no problem, the other side bent didn’t go in properly and it hurt. The doctor removed that coil and put another one in by this time I wanted to cry but couldn’t. (this was all under the watchful eyes of Essure manufacter rep which I didn’t know would partake in seeing my goodies) I have a high pain tolerance, so I took OTC pain meds went on with my life. Hi my name is Jenika and shortly after receiving the essure April if 2013 I have been in pain. I have horrible headaches, stomach pains, all over body pain and my hands tingle. I went to my doc and they checked for several things and couldn’t find anything. I am sure that this is the cause of my problems and pray that I get some kindof relief soon.
